ABOUT
OUR STORY
Some of my favorite memories growing up were spent rummaging through my mom’s jewelry box, discovering hidden treasures I could “borrow” for the day. Each piece had a story, from delicate heirlooms she wore in her younger years to timeless pieces passed down from my grandmother. My mom would sit beside me, sharing where each piece came from and what it meant to her.
My grandmother worked at a local jeweler, so her collection was naturally full of stunning, well-crafted pieces. Looking back, it’s no surprise I inherited their love of fine jewelry.
As I grew older and was gifted some of my grandmother’s pieces, I developed a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and beauty of vintage jewelry. I started carefully curating my own fine jewelry collection, selecting pieces that are timeless, meaningful, and built to last. It’s a collection I continue to build with care, and now, I want to do the same for you.
There’s something truly special about vintage jewelry, the uniqueness, the history, the quality. My mission is to source beautiful, ethically obtained fine jewelry from the past and bring it to you, pieces that tell a story and become part of yours.
That’s what inspired the name Maison Hoch, which means “House of Hoch” in French, a tribute to my grandmother and the legacy of beautiful jewelry she passed down. This brand is my way of honoring that legacy and sharing it with others: ethically sourced, vintage fine jewelry that tells a story, one you’ll make your own.
Keep it dry
Avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower, pool, or while applying lotions, perfumes, or hairspray. Moisture and chemicals can damage metals and stones.
Store it properly
Store each piece in a soft pouch or separate compartment in a jewelry box to prevent scratching and tangling.
Clean it gently
Use a soft brush and mild soap with warm water to clean. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners, especially for vintage or delicate pieces.
Remove before activity
Take off your jewelry before exercising, cooking, cleaning, or sleeping to prevent damage or exposure to sweat and dirt.
Get it checked regularly
Have your jewelry professionally inspected once a year to check for loose stones, worn prongs, or other signs of wear.
Put it on last
Always add your jewelry last when getting ready to avoid exposure to sprays, makeup, and other products.
